Selecting Silencers
Silencers can be selected from the Noise Details form (Screen Shot)
Click the Select a Silencer button.
Information is transferred to the silencer database for the special version of H & R Resources silencer program included with Centrix.
Generally Rectangular silencers will be selected for the outlet and circular silencers selected for the inlet. If an inlet box is used then a rectangular silencer should be selected to suit the box dimensions.
Centrix will pass the correct dimensions automatically.
Click Rectangular Silencer or Circular Silencer as appropriate
Dimension sketches should be printed from within the Silencer program. They cannot be accessed later from anywhere else in Centrix.
The Save to Centrix button must be clicked to save the design and costing information to Centrix.
If you added the silencer after looking at Areas, Weights and costs you can use the View menu to move straight back to it and see the addition of the silencer and any transition.
