Slide Rails Menu

You can set defaults, edit slide rail dimensions and prices and enter new slide rail brands.

To set the default slide rail supplier select the name required in the drop down box and click the 'Set Defaults' button.

Creating new slide rails

To enter a new slide rail or brand click the New/Copy button. The 'Copy to New Slide Rail' form is displayed. You can then copy dimensions from an existing slide rail an add them to one of the slide rail suppliers existing in the drop down box.

To enter a New supplier click the 'New Brand' button on the 'Copy to new Slide Rail' form. Enter the slide rail designation, select a motor frame size and type in the new brand or suppliers name. Click the 'OK' button to create the new supplier. You can now copy dimensions from other slide rail suppliers to this new one.

Editing dimensions and prices

There are two ways to edit the slide rail dimensions and prices:

1) Use the 'Edit' button to edit an individual slide rail for a particular motor frame or range of frames.

See screen shot. Entry boxes are shown on the form for each of the dimensions. Type in the new values and click the save button.

2) Use the 'Show' button under the 'Supplier Frame Range' heading. This will show a grid with all the slide rail designations and dimensions for each motor frame. You can edit dimensions directly in this grid. Note that you have to edit each dimension for every motor frame that uses the same designation. This method may be more efficient however if you only have to change a couple of dimensions for every motor frame in the grid. It is recommended that you print the print the sketch using the 'Print Sketch' button on the Slide Rails form.

Deleting Slide Rails and Suppliers.

Use the 'Show' button under the 'Supplier Frame Range' heading. This will show a grid with all the slide rail designations and dimensions for each motor frame. To delete a single slide rail click the left hand column and press delete on the keyboard. to delete the supplier and the entire range of slide rails click the 'Delete All' button.
