Max / Range Pressure

Using the Peak pressure and pressure range to limit selections.

The number of selections for any given fan model can be changed by altering the range value. A large range value will give more selections for each model.

However, the maximum number of total selections that Centrix will make is limited  so it could be that the total number is reached before some of the models are analysed.

It is recommended that for initial selections a range of 60% is used. This can be changed if you are searching a particular model. In general smaller diameter fans will be obtained by selecting lower down the performance curve but this will be at the expense of power consumption and a higher tip speed and rpm.

Remember also that Centrix will check the other limitations (minimum efficiency, rpm range and tip speed) to decide if a selection should be rejected.

Note that the minimum pressure is the peak pressure minus the range pressure.
